Looking back at the IFT SLOVAKIATOUR fair in Bratislava

Exactly one month after the demanding but successful HOLIDAY WORLD tourism fair in Prague, we also took part in the IFT SLOVAKIATOUR travel fair in our foreign neighbours in Bratislava. How was the Bratislava fair?

This fair was different, mainly because this time it was not only a tourism fair, but it was combined with a gastronomic festival. Therefore, clients did not only come for travel opportunities, but also for tasting different delicacies and drinks, which has its advantages and disadvantages.

The fair started on Thursday and on this day there were a lot of young people, students with a focus on tourism, so we were pleased that they were very interested in our knowledge and experience. Friday and Saturday were busier and it was clear that many people extended their weekend and came to see the news and get information by contacting our stand directly to see our delegates. With a smile on their face and enthusiasm, the girls were able to offer them the special offers and give them a lot of information about the individual cruises. The Explory Journeys stand was particularly interesting for the virtual glasses, which allowed the visitors to be transported to the beautiful EXPLORA I for a while and to see all the nooks and crannies of this luxury ship. Sunday belonged mainly to families with children, for whom the biggest attraction were the exhibited ship models, which were a success not only with the little ones, but also with the big ones;

After returning from Bratislava, we can honestly evaluate both fairs: SLOVAKIATOUR Bratislava was not as strong as the fair in Prague, but we are very glad that we could attend it and broaden our horizons about the possibilities of travelling by boat in Slovakia.
